And another thing.  I want to be Mary but I am really Martha.  This year I want to spend more time with Him, more time with those I love and less time doing.  More time sitting, walking, talking, sharing, listening; most of all listening.  And less time rushing for one task that I think cannot wait to the next.  I know I can do the sitting, listening, talking but can I let go of the things I feel I MUST do.

Who will do those tasks?

Getting started is always the hardest part for me because I am the Queen of PROCRASTINATION.  And no I am not proud of it, simply stating a fact.  It's all the "can't" that I allow in my way.  Dad always said "There is no such thing as "can't.  Old man Can't died in World War II and had no sons so no grandsons.  No one lives on with that name."  Words of wisdom.

Each year, in the recesses of my mind but never verbally, I make the resolution to procrastinate less.  Eventually I assume I will stop altogether.

You procrastinate?

In 2012 there will be seven (7) days in each week.  I plan to make each day COUNT.

My New Year's resolution.
